Founded in 1993 Snowwater has been at the peak of innovation for over 25 years. Introducing the first Snowcat backup in the industry and unlimited vertical heli skiing packages all centered around a 5 star food and beverage program in a boutique mountain top lodge. Two Track Seasons
With two operating seasons for a total of 99 potential days on the track there is a unique opportunity for members to hone their gravel, mud, snow and ice driving skills. The summer dirt season runs July 1st - September 15th and the winter snow and ice runs Nov 24th - December 15th.
Drivers will experience a variety of well maintained surfaces in the summer dirt season and constantly changing surfaces of ice and snow in the winter season.
Membership at the Mile High Track
Members will be checked in at the Snowwater Clubhouse (our base operations headquarters) located at Highway 6 and 3a junction. A quick meet and greet along with some delicious woodfired pizza before heading up to the track and/or lodge. The track is 12 miles / 19km from the base, 15km / 9miles on dirt so the fun starts here!
Members will have the option along with preferred rates to book in stay at Snowwater lodge while using the track or base out of Nelson a beautiful city located Kootenay Lake 15 minutes from our base.
The well thought out track design was created to challenge drivers of all skill levels and abilities. Whether working on their own program or with one of our highly skilled instructors, members will be put to task with a number of challenging track surfaces and track combinations.
